Why become a Friend of Kenya Cricket?
Help us to help young cricketers.
As The Official Supporters of Kenya Cricket in the United Kingdom, we make grants to cricket clubs, leagues and bodies in Kenya to encourage youngsters to play the game. Grants will also be made to improve grounds and facilities for spectators, as well as providing technical and professional support to enhance development.
Apart from supporting the Kenya age group teams including girls teams, Under 19s, Under 17s, Under 15s, Under 13s, we intend to support the following as well:
Kenya National Team
Kenya ‘A’ team
Kenya Women’s team
Cricket Clubs
Provincial bodies
Umpires & Scorers

Future projects involve funding to help kick-start youth cricket in areas where cricket is not being played, and also providing equipment to and expertise to under-privileged schools wanting to play cricket. So, if you are passionate about cricket, and want to help us achieve our mission or would simply like to volunteer, become an important Friend of Kenya Cricket and help develop the game in Kenya – we can make a difference together!
Membership is available to anyone over the age of 18 years.
Single - Suitable for individuals.
Fee: £ 20.00 per year.
Corporate - This could be in the name of an organisation/company. Up to five representatives may be nominated as members.
Fee: £100.00 per year
Student - For the many students abroad who support the Kenya cricket team. Requires proof e.g. copy of either Letter from educational institution or Student ID
Fee: £5.00 per year

- All members will be entitled to a cricket tie or brooch with the logo of Friends of Kenya Cricket UK.
- Fund raising get-togethers and the annual dinner provide a great way to meet Kenyans in the UK including prominent personalities such as H.E. the Kenyan High Commissioner to the UK and England based Kenyan sportsmen and sportswomen.
- A regular newsletter will not only keep members in the picture as to how Friends of Kenya Cricket UK is helping to develop cricket in Kenya but also provide up to date news from the general cricket scene in Kenya.
